What an exciting night in the Quad Cities.  Jeff, owner of  Penguins Comedy Club put on a great night of entertaining at the Freight House!  The area on the water was just beautiful.

Documentary Film

A documentary film is being done on the CR Spirits Professional Dance Team.  When I (Tiffany Kuehl) was approached to have a film done on my life’s journey I was surprised, excited, reserved, and yet curious….

Having NO dance background, a DIFFICULT childhood, I found comfort listening to music, my mind automatically could visualize a dance.  I found peace in my dreams, a desire of my own Professional Dance Team.  I have proved to myself and to others that your dreams do come true even when you feel you are the only one that believes in them.

Having a camera on you for the last few months can be terrifying, but independent filmmaker Kevin Railback has made it an easy transition.  Please enjoy the journey Kevin takes as he discovers that there is  so much more to the CR Spirits Professional Dance Team & Studio than anyone could imagine.

California Spirits coming in August!

The CR Spirits are traveling back to California!  The Professional Dance Team is performing at the OC Fair in Costa Mesa on Saturday, August 7th at 1:20pm.  The Spirit Show will take place on the Plaza Arts Stage!  This will be the Professional Teams first performance at the OC Fair and they are looking forward to meeting some new Spirit fans!  Stop by an enjoy the Spirit Show and get a FREE autograph poster after the performance!

The CR Spirits will also be hosting a “California Spirits” Summer Clinic while they are in the sunny state of California.  If you are between the ages of 4-17 this is for you!  Sign up today, space is limited!

The Iowa State Fair Has Got Some Spirit!

What another great performance at the Iowa State Fair! 

The weather was great, the crowd was excited, and we were ready to put on a show!

Supporting our Troops!  Wish our deal in Iraq would of came through!  It was a honor to be asked, but Oh, how I wish it would of happened!

Cedar Rapids Smile Center…Look At Our Smiles!

The performance at Atkin’s Watermelon Days went smooth. The weather was hot but the cold watermelon was great!

The Tiny, Li’l, & Junior Spirits are looking pretty good.  This was their second performance for the day!

The Li’l & Junior Performance for the Cedar Rapids Smile Center had so many fun events for everyone to do.  This was a day of Appreciation for his paitients.  Dr. Yossi is a wonderful denist who takes pride in his work and you can see that though his staff and young paitients.

Just a BIG Thank You!

I would like to say Thank You for your thoughts and prayers this last month!

First off Calvin is doing GREAT!  To those who do not know him.  Calvin is my little baby.  He is a 5 pound Yorkie who is almost 5 years old.  He was brutally attacked in his yard buy two other dogs.  Calvin spent three days in the hospital, but he is now home.  There is a little personality change but he is almost back to my Calvin:)  To the kids who have emailed, YES he does have a big scar on his tummy!  As far as the dogs who attacked they are no longer in our area.

Second my grandfather is in a better place, but again Thank You for your kind words.  He was always so proud of the Spirits.  He knew what it meant to me and wanted me to continue with my dreams.  Times like this sure can make you reflect on your life.

The month of July has been challenging, but how grateful I am to have a studio full of supportive parents, staff who is there in a heartbeat and a professional that reminds me why I started all of this.

Exciting Spirit Opportunities!

Here is Raven Symone!  What a great concert.  She was delightful and very funny!

Durning the concert, Raven watched, our Spirit Clinic girls do a routine in the crowd to one of Micheal Jackson songs…even though her dancer was performing to the song for us…our girls couldn’t sit still, when they heard that song come on.  Raven was impressed.

We were enjoying ourselves when Christian and Rodney came over and asked us a question….They needed a few Spirit Girls to dance on stage with Raven!  What a fun opportunity!

After speaking with the girls that were picked, Tiffany stated don’t be star struck…enjoy the moment.  Perform on stage like you will never get this opportunity again!  Spirits are professional:)

However, when the Spirits got on stage and Raven came over to talk with Tiffany, we think Tiffany was star struck:)

WHAT ELSE HAS BEEN GOING ON, YOU ASK?

Well, the MANCHESTER PARADE is one of the CR Spirits Professional Dance Team’s favorite!  It is a long parade and the crowd is so friendly.  Plus working with John with the Great Jones County Fair makes the parades even more exciting!  The music is loud, the fans are clapping, and everyone with the Great Jones County Fair is helpful and ready to have fun!

SOLON BEEF DAYS PARADE, STUDIO AFTERNOON PERFORMANCE, AND LATER THAT NIGHT THE PROFESSIONAL TEAM PERFORMANCE!  We have never done this event before and what a blast.  This is an event we need to do next year.  We have recieved many emails from this event and we promise…we will be back!  The Professional Team was sorry to leave so fast but off to another event:)

CEDAR RAPIDS BANK & TRUST MOVIE NIGHT….What beautiful weather.  The kids enjoyed performing and loved the movie afterwards.  What a great idea Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust!

SCOOTERS PERFORMANCE IN ANAMOSA.  The atmosphere is amazing.  Jes on the Professional Dance Team had us perform at this Poker Ride.  The Crowd Rocked!  We met so many people and we wish we had pictures:)

At this dance clinic, Tiffany decided to do a Michael Jackson melody.

Watching all the kids perform makes you remember why you love doing this.

The clinic was of ages 4 to 17.  They met only twice and put on a 7 minute show!

The emails I have received from our audience have been wonderful.  To put it in one persons words, “The show gave me goosebumps and the professional dance team made me want to dance.”
